I am currently living in Louisville, Kentucky. I started into the world of photography in 1996.

Photography is a passion in my life and I owe that to three people:

Becky Dallmann - for convincing me to try photography as a new art form.

Kelly Short - for being a wonderful and caring instructor that did not stand in the way of my creativity like other instructors have in the past.

Charles Thompson (my father) - for being a great photographer that taught me many things and for being there when ever I needed him.

With out those three people I would have never picked up the camera.

Some kind words from friends and colleagues:

"I rely on Paul for not only top quality creative photographs but for leadership, as well. He leads by example.

Paul is always working on some sort of project; he never has down time. He has never let me down."

Kelly Short - Photography instructor / publications adviser

"Mr. Thompson has always been courteous, efficient, highly intelligent, and professional. He has on many

occasions offered creative suggestions to what appeared to be insurmountable printing and design problems,

and he consistently displays a willingness to listen to the customer, understand their needs, and provide

solutions and results."

Michael Fitzpatrick - Executive Director / Millenia Music, Inc. CEO & President / Harmonic Station LLC

Model Testimonials

Paul is one of the most professional and easy-to-work-with photographers I've ever encountered.  His willingness to experiment is one of his most admirable qualities as a photographer and he seems to love what he's doing, which is also a major benefit.

I sincerely appreciated the way he stayed on top of things both during the shoot and afterward, letting me know about the progress of the final images and even sending me a few teasers via e-mail that get me excited about the final product and finally producing the product of some 30-odd pictures in a little less than a month.  Very efficient...very impressive.  His images have been beneficial in getting me work via OMP, Musecube and Net-Model, both paid assignments and TFP with photographers in Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky and interests from photographers in New Jersey, Illinois, Michigan, Montana, Nevada and California.

I can't wait to shoot with him again in December.  Thanks for everything!

-Victoria

Working with Paul has been a complete artistic experience. He allows you to express yourself through creativity and doesn't try to dampen your vision, instead adding his own vision to it and turning it into a true work of art. His work behind the lens is amazing and beautiful, making me feel like a true diva!

Paul took a first-time experience (working alone with a male subject) and generated images that captured who I am and evolving into...his manner, the vibe he generated, and his professional demeanor encouraged me in front of his lens.  I have and will continue to return to Paul for a wonderful, finished product.

Paul is an amazing photographer who continues to fascinate people by the images he continually observes and captures through the lens of his camera. He is beyond professional; he pushes you through every creative outlet you are willing to explore but doesn’t dare push you beyond your limits. He easily reveals a persons outer beauty, but it’s the inner beauty that he astonishingly captures in every shoot. I extremely enjoyed my first shoot with Paul and look forward to working with him again in the near future.

Namaste My Dear Friend,
Gina
